I know, it's been a long time. I sure have missed you! Even though I haven't been online to much, I have still been visiting the DT and creating Dollar Tree DIY Crafts and gifts. So rather than explaining them all, I am going to post all the pictures and videos of my creations, since we last met. I hope you like them. Please let me know which one is your favorite!
If this is your first time visiting my blog, welcome! If you are a returning Beauty, thank you so much for your continued support.
I am always looking for a way to save a little money while still creating beautiful things. So when I saw these beautiful vases at Michael's, I wanted to grab them all up. At the price point of $7-$11plus dollars, I had to think of a way to make them for much less.
Of course, I love the Dollar Tree and knew they had just what I needed and for only $2.00. With a glass cylinder vase and some diamond wrap bling, I was able to create something very similar. What do you think?
Here is a quick video to show you how easy it was to create a great look for any wedding, shower or home décor.
Just a quick announcement to let you know that I will be doing a Plan With Me Live at 7p.m. Pacific Time on Monday May 1, 2017. If you have purchased the kit, you can join in on a conference call, so we can chat along (check your email for instructions and call in number and access code). If you have not purchased the kit, you can always watch it on youtube live and comment along. I look forward to seeing or hearing from you then. Also the June kit is on sale now and May kit's go out tomorrow. Until then, here is a video on how to use washi in your planner!

I have had such a fun week! Why, you ask? It's simple, I have been playing with Watercolors and Stencil's. These are the same craft items I played with as a young kid. If you watch my YouTube channel or follow my Instagram, then you already know what I've been up to this week. If not, then let me show you.
This was my Life Book that I like to just leave little notes and advice for my family and friends who browse through my life, whether I am still alive today or my great, great grandchildren can read it years from now.
Just as I had fun in Kindergarten, I had just as much fun putting ink to paper in any way shape or form, to create this lovely background for the pure quote. It's such sound advice, don't you agree?
Here is some stenciling I have done in my Life Book as well. I copied this from my Plan With me for the week.
It really is so relaxing to revert back to the arts and crafts of my childhood!
Oh my goodness, I went to the Dollar Tree to look for some Garden Party Décor on the cheap! I think I found exactly what I was looking for. I made two great pieces for only $2.50 each. I had to share these ideas all in one day on my youtube channel because I was so thrilled with the look. I am thinking these would also make great table centerpieces for a wedding or any party. Can be made up to be elegant and can use various flowers, beads, blink and so much more. The possibilities are endless. Here are my videos and pictures for you (Starting with my $20.00 Dollar Tree Haul).
Now that you've seen my goodies, let's see what I have made with them so far.
Who doesn't love Burlap and Flowers? See how I made this in the following video.
Now Let's see the next piece!
I think it was so cute and yet even more simple to make.
Now let's put it all together!!!
Didn't that come out super cute? I really think it did, especially for Spring!
If you get any inspiration from any of my ideas, please post them on Instagram and tag me in them @JeanPiersanti. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
So, what is my newest obsession you ask? I am trying different types of hand lettering. I am using it for my Junk Journals, Bible Journaling, Pocket Letters and Addressing my envelopes and packages. I am having so much fun learning new techniques. This week, I tried my hand at block lettering. I didn't have anything to copy after, so I kinda just tried and saw what came of it. I liked what came out so of course, you could probably finish my sentence at this point... Yep, I made a video for you to see. Here is a video.
Here is a sped up version as well.
What do you think? Myself? I think it was pretty nice for being so simple! And, as for the pens I am using (everyone always asks). Here is where I got mine from.
I know, I am going crazy. I am having so much fun trying to created nice looking home décor for as little as possible. So I thought this little diddy was super cute and it only costs...wait for it... $2.00. I know right!!! $2.00 is an amazing DIY price for such an elegant looking wall art. This can be made so many different ways to match the style of ones home. So here is the one I made to match with my own home.
Can you believe this was only $2.00? How, you ask? Well, of course, I made a video for you and you are not going to believe how easy this was. These would make great wedding or bridal gifts as well as birthday or Christmas. Ooh, this would make a nice housewarming gift too! Holy smokes, I have to go buy more....bye!...lol Here is the video for you!
I love strolling through the isles at the Dollar Tree and just waiting for a DIY Project idea to jump out at me. Well let me tell you. I saw a few items that made me buy it and drive home as fast as I could to make a haul video then make the DIY Project to share with all of you! I am showcasing the Easter Flowers in this particular version, however this can easily be changed to different flowers to make different looks throughout the whole year. Well, without further ado...
Isn't it pretty? I have also decided to giveaway this project to one of my Instagram Followers. Please watch the video for directions on how to make it yourself or rules on how to win this one for yourself.

I have been having so much fun creating things out of other things :)
Dollar Tree makes it easy and inexpensive to for some fun trial and error crafts. Most have been successes. Like this quick and easy pedestal for our guest bathroom.
Or this one for the kitchen. I love that it keeps the oils off the countertops and keeps any spillage in a place that can be easy transported to the sink, soap and hot water to clean up.
Can you believe these are just bowls and plates, but look so cute. I know, you are a crafty beauty, so there is really no need to check out the video, but I made one for those who need a little bit of visual, like myself.
Wasn't that quick and easy, yet still gives a fun and elegant flair. Just think of all the possibilities. If you decide to m ake one of these on your own, please post to Instagram and tag me in it. or hashtag #beautyandthestamper. Here is my Instagram, @JeanPiersanti See you there!!! Oh and one more thing... Did you know that Dollar Tree can be ordered online? I know right, me neither! Check it out!
I am absolutely in love with the new Beautiful You stamp set in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. Here is the most recent card I made with it.
Isn't she absolutely beautiful? Yep, I think so too, especially against the Serenity Scenes Designer Series Paper. Rather than making up all kinds of words to explain how I made it, I just recorded a video for you (in true Jean fashion):
I absolutely love surprises, so when Michael's puts out their $2.00 Grab Bags (Now $4.00), I always have to run down and grab a few of them. I usually get some great stuff, then there are times when I get something I can't use like 1000 party balloons in various colors. Yes, a pack of 10 or so could be fun, but 1000...lol You'd think I m kidding but I am not. Another bag had a broken candle stick, this one was a little more fun because I was able repurpose it into a funky DIY Apothecary Jar. I used some old Bath & Body Works Candle Jars that had been used, clean out and was just waiting for a purpose!
I love the way it turned out. Here is the quick and easy how to video (please don't judge me on my messy craft desk...lol).
Well, what do you think? I feel it was a nice little organizing success! Now to come up with a DIY for a whole bunch of balloons!
What?! You don't know what a Pocket Letter is? Well, then grab some coffee (or wine) and let me tell ya all about it! Basically a Pocket Letter's are a newer way to create and make pen pals. it is sent through the Postal Serval aka Snail Mail. Pocket Letters are a fun way to send letters and little goodies in a compartment that fits perfectly in a regular size envelope, Want to make try your first pocket letter? Well great, here are a few steps to help you along.
Step 1. Find someone for the PL’s swap (read at the end of this post to find how)
Step 2. Decide together a theme for the PL’s swap
Step 3. Prepare, send your PL and wait for your partner’s one!
It all starts with a 9 pocket trading card protector (AKA Baseball Card Protector Sheets). You then decorate each pocket and fill it with little goodies. Many like to decorate each pocket with ATC (Artist Trading Card) and add some little gifts. These gifts range from stickers, washi tape samples, clear stamps, tea and a letter or a note to introduce yourself to your new pal (you may continue to swap and build a friendship, if you hit it off). Here is my latest Pocket Letter.
And here is an up close look at each pocket.
This one is my favorite
Hearts always work in Pocket Letters
So true!
Project Life Cards work well too!!!
Isn't she just Beautiful?
Shameless promotion in the back!
Want to see me make it? Well, you are in luck. I recorded it for you. Check out my video below, but first get some more coffee (or wine).
Well, how was that? Get some more coffee (or wine)...lol
Once you have finish, you can fold it, decorate as a gift and send in a standard 10 size envelope (although, most use large envelopes because the decorations and goodies can get a bit bulky) Especially if you swap with me...lol.
Janette Lane is the person who came up with this idea and us crafters jump at the opportunity to share our crafts with other crafters and artists, who we know would appreciate it. You can find pocket letter pen pals aka swappers in various ways: You can check out Janette's website PocketLetterPals.com or Facebook groups are very popular.
Have you ever swap a PL? Do you already know this world? Tell me about your experience on it in comments below!

I have had so much fun creating with all of you! I know many of you have asked about my planning and weekly Plan With Me segments on my youtube channel. I have decided that since you have asked for it, I will begin to share my layout's here along with where I get my various sticker's and what not (when I remember, of course). My sticker and scrapbook paper collection has been around for many years, so sometimes I just can't remember where I got them. For the most part, however, I have stuck with Dollar Tree, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, DaySpring and Oh Hello Stationary for my planning needs. I also find some of my layouts on etsy and various blogs... oh yeah... and Pinterest...lol. So with that said, here is a picture of this week's layout.
I used a scrapbook page along with some stickers I had on hand. You can see my video below to see how I made it.
I hope you re having a wonderful day! I have had a busy week, but I had to take time to show you this ink and drag technique.
It literally is a gift card/credit card type card that is placed on an ink pad and dragged across the paper. I found this technique while looking into bible journaling. I tried it on my planner and I felt it turned out just beautiful.
Then I wanted to try it as a quick and easy card.
It worked so well, that I had to share it via a card swap with all my Stamping WeStamp group (we do a monthly swap). So I quickly made 11 cards and I couldn't believe how fast and easy it was to make this greeting card. So I decided to a show and tell video to show you exactly how fast it is to make a handmade card.
Wasn't that fast and easy? If you decide to try this technique, please share it with me via Instagram @JeanPiersanti or #BeautyandtheStamper
I am having so much fun making these Do It Yourself Apothecary Jars. I use just two items from the Dollar tree and some paint and glue that I have on hand. I am totally loving the look. I will continue to look for different style jars to see what other designs I can make, but for now Here is the first one I made so far.
Isn't that fun looking? Imagine having many of them with either different items in them or maybe even painted a different color. They would make cute DIY Gift Ideas with items that the receiver would like. The ideas are endless. Of course, you won't believe how quick and easy it is to make. Here is a video showing you how I did it.
The longest part of making this was only waiting for the paint to dry. If you try to make one of these yourself. Please let me know by tagging #BeautyandtheStamper on Instagram. I love to see all the things you all make.
If you follow me on Instagram or YouTube, you would have already seen this super cute card with these fun Sizzix Bird Stamps from Tim Holtz. I have been enjoying coloring these little guys with my new alcohol inks. I love just creating a hodge podge card (so I call it, although I am sure it probably has a technique type name that I am not aware of, maybe mixed media). I called it shabby Chic. Any way, enough tinkering with the keys, let's see the card!!!
Isn't that such a cute little bird. He has so much character. If you are interesting in seeing how I made this card, please check out this video.
Well, as you can tell, I had a fun time making this card. I tried to use a lot of items that I have bought from various places. I hope you enjoyed the card as well. As always, thank you so much for your support and visiting any and all of my social media sites!!! You are the very best!!!
As you may know, if you watch my YouTube Channel, I recently received a brand new Cricut Explore Air 2 for my birthday. I have had so much fun making projects and learning different tips and techniques. I wanted to pass these on to you. I have learned how to write with the Cricut.
Wasn't that cool? I have also learned that you can use Dollar Tree Pens in the Cricut as well. And the write pretty darn good. What a money saver!
I have also found that Cricut has some pretty decent deals if you purchase items online. I have found this deals on my share a sale site. Cricut Explore Air Clearance Deals Also, you can use the code LOVESHIP for Free Shipping in January at Cricut.com
