   Supplies

Stamps:  Unbounded Love

Ink/Coloring:Cajun Craze

Paper: Basic White Thick, Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper (DSP), Cajun Craze

Adhesives: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Tombow Mono-adhesive Multipurpose Glue

Embellishment(s): Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls

Directions

Cut Basic White Base at 11” x 4 ¼””, score at 5 ½”

Cut Cajun Craze Layer at 5 ¼” x 4”

Cut 2 Piece of DSP at 1 ¼” x 1 ¼” and 4 Pieces of DSP and 1 Basic White Cardstock  at 1 ¼” x 2 ½”

Adhere the small squares on opposite corners of the Cajun Craze Layer and then Adhere other 4 DSP Pieces to make a frame for the stamped greeting.  Adhere your stamped greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finish with Embellishments and/or Ribbon and  your card is ready for its recipient.

Stamping Techniques - How to Use Embossing powder - Throwback Thursday

Embossing powders are a fantastic way to add dimension and a touch of elegance to your craft projects, whether you're creating cards, scrapbooks, or other paper crafts. To get started, you'll need a few supplies: embossing powder(s), a heat gun, an embossing ink pad, and the surface you plan to emboss on. Begin by stamping your chosen design onto your paper using the embossing ink pad. This Versamark ink is specially formulated to stay wet longer, allowing the embossing powder to adhere to it.

Once you've stamped your design, immediately sprinkle embossing powder over the inked area. Be generous with the powder to ensure full coverage, and then gently tap off the excess powder back into its container. You can use a small brush to remove any stray powder particles from your paper before the next step.

The final step involves using a heat gun to melt the embossing powder. Hold the gun a few inches away from the surface and move it around to evenly heat the design. As the powder melts, you'll see it transform into a raised, glossy finish. Allow it to cool for a few moments, and your beautifully embossed design is complete. With practice, you can experiment with different powders, inks, and techniques to create stunning, personalized crafts.
