Make your own shimmer ink spritzer

I love the Christmas card I made yesterday, so I am going through the spritzer like crazy, as I am in Christmas card making mode.  I video taped one of the refills so you can see how to make your own spritzer (keep in mind, you can replace the hand sanitizer with alcohol, if you choose).

Shimmer Snowflake Christmas Card

Well, it's that time of year again.  I love it!  I can't wait for Halloween to come and go, because that means I can start on my Christmas gifts and cards without people thinking I am crazy.  Today I made this Snowflake card using a punchout of a snowflake and just sprizing some shimmer and marina minst ink onto a piece of whisper white card stock.  Then I stamped a quick greeting and layered it in Real Red and Marina Mist card stock.  Blinged it out a bit and I was done.  This card was so quick and easy to make.  Tomorrow, I will show you how I made the shimmer spritzer and then on Tuesday I am going to start "Two Minute Tip Tuesday" where you can find various tips in less than two minutes, I will show you how I made the shimmer stencil reverse snowflake on this card.

Get Well Wishes and Prayer Request

Well, it is with a heavy heart that I show this card, but I wanted to use to open the door to receiving prayer.  My father-in-law is quite ill.  I made this card to let him know that I care for him and that I am praying for God's Will in and with his life.  Please add this man and his family to your prayer requests!  This one is for big Tony!  If you like this card, please re-pin, if for nothing else, than for growing a prayer chain for him.  Also, the Lord has laid it on my heart that any commission made from all purchases made from now through the end of the 2012, from my Stampin' Up! business, will go toward the medical expenses for this family.  If you would like to send him a get well or thinking of you card, please send it directly to me at 5727 W.
