Card Recipe for Resist Technique

What’s the recipe?

As many are preparing recipe’s for Thanksgiving, I ‘m preparing a recipe for the above card.  This is because I Do Not know how to cook.  But I still wanted to share a recipe, so I thought I share this one with you! It showcases the Resist Techniques using Pigment Sprinkles.  It look like a very hard card to make, but it is quite simple. Below is a list of the supplies you will need.  I have also included a YouTube video (which has not yet been released, but you get it early, as a Beauty and the Stamper Blog subscriber). Click Here to see video before it’s released.
Base Cardstock cut at 8.5” x 5.5”, scored at 4.25”

Background Color cut at 4” x 5.25”

Foreground White cut at 3.75” x 5”

Stamp Focal Stamp (Peacock) with Versamark

Emboss with Shimmer White Embossing Powder and heat set (May use clear, white or another color of choice)

Apply color on top of embossed image (ink, markers or pigment sprinkles)

Stamp greeting in flagged scraps

Adhere all pieces together.

Add a few accessories (bling etc.)

Voila! You have a great one of a kind to give to your host at Thanksgiving or any other occasion.

Emboss Resist Technique

The Emboss Resist technique is so elegant and charming.  It can be used so many way, ink can be sponges, drawn or sprinkled.  It’s up to you!  I hope you have fun playing with this oldie but goodie technique.
