Don't forget... Dad

Hi Beauties~

Just a quick reminder to let you know tomorrow if Father's Day. I have 4 cards that have to be made each year. One for my Dad, my Father-one-law, my Son (who is celebrating only his second Father's Day) and then, of course My Husband. They are all wonderful Dad's and I am so blessed to have them in my life. My hubby and I agreed that the new house is our gift to each other for Mother's and Father's Day. And I sent out the following three cards earlier this week.









Now for a couple phone calls tomorrow to let them know how thankful I am to have them in my life and wishing we lived closer. How will you be celebrating Dad?

Teacup Birdfeeder

So I have learned that while I can't spend money and have extra time on my hands, I love to create. I made this cute little bird feeder out of some chine that I found at a garage sale.


Wouldn't this make a cute gift for a bird watcher? Now I will be on the lookout for more China cup and saucers to make more cute gift for family and to put on my Etsy shop.

Leftover Goodness

Hi Beauties~

I know, I know.. It sounds like I will be giving you a food recipe today. Well, that is not the case. We are in the process of buying another house. If you have purchased a house before, then you know your money, bank accounts and credit has to stay pretty much at a standstill until escrow closes. This is really hard for me right now, especially with the new Stampin' Up! Catalog coming out last week. Can you believe I have not actually purchased anything yet? In reality that is, however in my mind I have shopped and shopped that catalog a hundred times over (in preps for the day I can spend money again). Okay, I am sure you are wondering when I am going to get to the Leftover Goodness part of the story. Okay, okay... Here it is. My friend had some leftover dresser drawers and I found some leftover wine corks at a garage sale that they gave me for FREE. So with a little bit of paint, some E6000 glue and a old hanger that I had, I created a great little message center.


Can you tell I am proud of it? And... It cost me nothing, but some great leftovers!
