A new little one is on his way!!!

Hi Beauties~

I am getting ready for my newest grandbaby.  So we will celebrate with a shower.
I made these cute little favors for each lady who will attend.
Please see below on how I made these very quick and easy, yet still very pretty and special.  The tag attached will have the following saying:

"Burn this tea light on the night
Once the stork has made its flight
With a flicker of the flame
Please say a prayer in Wyatt's name"

~ My daughter found this idea on Pinterest, so I am not sure who to give credit to for the poem and idea, but whoever it is, THANK YOU!!!

See the video below to see how fast and easy it was to make these.

Handmade - Pick of the week

Hi Beauties~

This week's handmade pick of the week comes from Kylie Bertucci. You can visit her blog at www.craftykylie.com

This card has such a clean, sharp and simple look. The colors works so well together. This card is not gender specific so it would be great for a woman or a man. I love how she got her inspiration!

This week, I challenge you and myself to look around your world and find inspiration to make something handmade. If you accept this challenge, please take a picture and put it on social media with the hashtag #beautyandthestamper and #stampinupgirl. I will be on a cruise to Mexico (my Brother is getting married) this week, so I am positive that I will find plenty of inspiration!

What is a Flip Book, you ask ???

Hi Beauties~

Until recently, I was asking myself the same thing. So I looked it up, as I am trying out different ways to promote snail mail, handmade gifts, making friends and giving up so much social media aspects of saying hello, happy birthday and what not. Snail Mail Flip Books are a way of sending a sweet hello with little gifts and goodies that similar minded people could use. Such as stamps and paper for a stamper, stickers and pens for a planner, or tags and cards for Project Lifers. They are very similar to Pocket Letters, except you make the holder rather than using pre made plastic card holders. Here is a Flip Book that I made using some Stampin' Up! Products and a couple of recent Paper Pumpkin kits.

I love the colors!

I've never thought to just stack things on top of each other, but I think it came out pretty cute!

Paper Pumpkin Kits make things so easy to be creative!
