Who doesn't love candy? I sure do, but it has so many calories. So I went in search for calorie free candy and I found perfection!!! CANDY DOTS!!! by Stampin' Up!
I made this card specifically to use the new candy dots. I am just in Love, Love, Love with them!
They come in every color in that Stampin' Up! has in their everyday collection. They come in packs of 100 (10 of each color) available in Brights, Neutrals, Subtles, and Regals for only $5.95 USD. You can order them here.
I visited with my friend and her Father, once he returned from his trip to the East Coast. I wanted to show you the card that I made for him for Father's Day. I used the Stamp Off Technique: Stamping Off is a simple idea that yields big results in lots of ways. Just as the name implies, you ink your stamp and stamp any number of times before re-inking. The image becomes lighter with each stamp. This one happened to be inked only once and was able to be stamped 4 times.
He liked the card very much. I love to give my cards in the clear envelopes and he made sure he put in right back in there to protect it. That was so sweet, don't ya think?
I am having so much fun with the variety of techniques I have been able to show you. I hope you are liking them as well. Here is a card I made using tissue paper to ink up the Swallowtail stamp by Stampin' Up!
Here is a video of the Tissue Technique... Enjoy!!!
In the card featured today, I used Sassy Salutations. It is one of the stamps sets that are currently on sale until the end of June. See below for more information on this and other greetings stamps set you can get at a 25% discount.
I had so much fun creating this card and video. It has a few tips and techniques in it, that I think you will like. A Babywipe Technique, Mosaic Punch Background and a Chevron Ribbon Tip are all featured in the video.
