How to make simple yet beautiful packaging

Today we are bringing back the 'Sour Cream" Packaging... Enjoy!

Join me in viewing all the Global Stampers Video Hop and open up a world of artistic possibilities, especially when it comes to crafting unique packaging solutions. 

The use of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, with its vibrant colors and intricate patterns, makes for an exciting material to work with. One of the ingenious projects you can embark on is creating "Sour Cream" packaging. 

This particular design not only stands out for its simplicity but also for its cost friendly approach to packaging. Using just one 6x6 piece of this designer paper, you can fold and manipulate the material into a small, eye-catching container that resembles the shape of a sour cream packet.

The process of crafting this packaging involves precise folds and a few simple cuts, turning a flat piece of paper into a three-dimensional object. 

The beauty of this project lies in its versatility; these little packets can be used for a variety of purposes, from holding small gifts or party favors to being an innovative way to package even money.

Paper Pumpkin Beauties:   Join me on the 1st Wednesday of Each Month

Stamps:  Tasteful Touches, Color & Contour

Ink/Coloring: Highland Heather

Paper: Basic White Thick, Highland Heather, Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Adhesives: Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multi Purpose Glue

Dies/Punches: Everyday Labels

Embellishments: 2021/2022 In-Color Gems

Directions

Cut Basic White Base at 5 ½” x 8½”” Score at 4 ¼”

Cut Hydrangea Hill DSP  at  5 ¼” x 4” and 1 ¼” x 2 ¾”

Cut Highland Heather at 1 ½” x 3” and punch everyday label (cut in half)

 

Stamp Greeting onto Basic White Scrap, punch with label and then adhere cut labels to form side borders. Stamp feather onto DSP and place on matte.  Add DSP to base and add ink with blender to middle of DSP.Add greeting and feather with Dimensionals.  Finally dress up your work of art with colored gems.

Ink/Coloring: Pretty Peacock

Paper: Basic White, Pretty Peacock, Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Adhesives: Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multi-Adhesive Glue

Butterfly Gems

Dies/Punches: Double Oval Punch

Directions

Cut (2) Pretty Peacock Base/Covers  at  5 ½” x  4 ¼”

Cut Ice Cream Corner DSP at 5” x 3 ¾”, 1 x 3 ¾”, & 2 ¼” x 5

Cut Basic White  at  5” x 11”  Score at 3 ¾” & 7 ½”

Scrap of Basic White and Pretty Peacock

 

Stamp Greeting and punch out with Oval Punch, Punch Background with Oval Scallop.  Stamp Birthday Greeting on last third of the Basic White.  Build the front of the card with layers and add scallop greeting with dimensionals.  Burnish basic white on score lines and adhere to the front and back covers.  Punch circle from Gift Card Strip and adhere with multi-purpose glue.  This cute little card is perfect for either gender and any age.
